The Victorian Popular Fictions Journal (VPFJ) is seeking to expand its pool of expert reviewers. As we continue to investigate the “hidden” aspects of nineteenth-century literature – spanning bestsellers, genre fiction, periodical press, and visual culture – we invite scholars at all career stages to become part of our reviewer team.

How to apply
If you would like to be considered for our upcoming review cycles, please send a brief email to VPFJournal@gmail.com with the subject line “VPFJ Reviewer Database” including:
- A short CV (or link to your institutional profile) and ORCiD
- Preferred email address for contact
- Key research keywords (e.g. Wilkie Collins, Temperance fiction, New Woman novels)
- Recent publications (optional, but helpful for matching expertise)
